Civilized Adventures team of Custom Travel Advisors would love to assist you in building your experiences of a lifetime – travel when you want and with whom you want!  No big bus tours or feeling like a “sheep in a herd” – we want to shape special memories that will last a lifetime. Panama, though known broadly for the feat of the Panama Canal, is so much more. From cloud forests to coffee plantations, crystal clear waters and historic places and volcanic peaks to island oasis. Visit Baru Volcano National Park, soak in thermal heated waters of Caldera Hot Springs, zipline through the cloud forest canopy, or head to Panama City for some shopping and to walk the streets of Casco Antiguo, the UNESCO World Heritage area.

Food and Feasts

The Panama Canal was completed in 1914 -- that's only one reason it's considered a feat of engineering prowess. It is a must-see when visiting Panama, but Comarca de Guna Yala and Bocas del Toro (both beaches) are amazing locales as well. Ropa vieja, arroz con pollo, empanadas, and seafood stew are among some of the local food favorites.
