About the Adventure:

Join veteran photographer Brad Wrobleski on his 7th trip to Japan where he has discovered his love for all things Japanese – Culture, History, People, and Food!  Brad has extensive knowledge about the art, architecture, film, history, and culinary experiences so this trip will explore some of Japans most interesting and culturally significant foods.

Brad’s engaging and informative, sell-out classes and workshops have taught thousands how to become better photographers.   • Enjoy ‘one-one-one’ hands-on photography instruction plus individual and group critiques
  • Photograph Geishas in their traditional costume
  • Spend the night at a traditional Mount Koya monastery, and rise early to witness the morning prayer ceremony with the resident monks
  • Swing your sword at The Samurai and Ninja Museum in Kyoto
  • Record the ancient traditions of rural Japan as we explore age-old villages and thatched dwellings in Shikoku’s Iya Valley

The Experience

We will hit all the best photography spots on this adventure and will be able to overnight in lovely hotels,  temples, Japanese tatami rooms, and Ryokan’s for traditional and amazing experiences.

Photography workshops will include:

Bus, train, and ferry! This trip will utilize a lot of local transportation and provide the opportunity to live like a local.

  • Private transportation from Tokushima Port to hotel and from Tokushima hotel to Iya Ryokan
