With 60,000 Beluga Whales filling the Hudson Bay and Polar Bears leaving the melting sea ice, summer is an amazing time to visit Churchill! Over the course of this five-day adventure, our experienced guides will take you to beautiful wild places that offer the very best opportunities to see Polar Bears, Beluga Whales, Arctic Sik Siks, over 200 nesting or migrating bird species, seals, Arctic Hare, Arctic Fox, and more.

Sample Itinerary:

Day 1- Arrive in Winnipeg

Arrive at Winnipeg hotel. Free day to explore Winnipeg.

Day 2 - Winnipeg to Lazy Bear Lodge, Churchill

Check-out from Winnipeg hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Churchill. This afternoon, embark on a Cultural and Heritage Tour of the Churchill area, including historic Cape Merry and an outside tour of the Polar Bear Jail (approx. 2-3 hours).

Day 3 - Hudson Bay Coastal Boat Tour

Today you depart on a full-day Hudson Bay Coastal Tour by boat with the opportunity to view the polar bears in their summer environment, swimming and walking around the rocks and wildflowers.

Day 4 - Beluga Whale Boat Tour & Walking Tour of Prince of Wales Fort

After breakfast, you will embark on a 3-hour Beluga Whale Boat Tour in search of the beautiful beluga whales in their natural habitat. You will also go ashore for a walking tour of the historic Prince of Wales Fort. AquaGliding and kayaking with the whales are available as optional extras.

Day 5 - Lazy Bear Lodge

Today you may embark on any optional tours such as Kayaking, AquaGliding™, or dog mushing (on wheels) or spend some time exploring the city on your own. (You also have that extra day provide time in case tours need to be rescheduled due to weather or other factors).

Day 6 - Arctic Crawler™ Tundra Tour / Back to Winnipeg

This morning, depart on a 3-hour Tundra Tundra Tour on a Arctic Crawler™ to view the beautiful landscape (approx. 3 hours). Later that day, you will be transferred to Churchill Airport for your return flight to Winnipeg.

Day 7 - Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Winnipeg airport for your return flight.
