Sample itinerary

Day 1: Embarkation In Gocek or Fethiye

You can arrive to Gocek by flying to Dalaman Airport and taking a vehicle (about a 45-minute drive). You will be embarking the yacht in the afternoon. Your captain will first have a welcome drink and provide information about the yacht and the tour program. Depending on your arrival time, overnight will be in a nearby bay after 30 minutes of cruising, or in the port of Göcek and discover this wonderful small town in the evening.  This village is a popular yachting center. Despite its growth, it has managed to keep its Turkish village atmosphere and has excellent restaurants. (Dinner)

Day 2: Olu Deniz / Kayakoy / Gemiler Island

After breakfast, you will sail to Ölüdeniz. The lagoon at Ölüdeniz (which means Dead Sea) is the most photographed and picture-post carded of any beach in the Eastern Mediterranean. Gulets usually are not allowed to go into the lagoon; so, you will probably anchor at the entrance of the lagoon and take a small boat. You can take a walk on the beach and in the lagoon. After lunch and a swim, you will cruise to the Bay of Bestas, and then hike to Kayaköy, astonishing ghost town whose inhabitants were part of the mass population exchanges of the 1920’s between Turkey and Greece. In the afternoon, walk a pine-shaded path to Affouli Monastery, a dramatic cliff side monument with a magnificent view of the Mediterranean. Your yacht will wait for you in Gemiler Island, with widespread ruins of churches going back to the Byzantine period. You should not miss the stunning panoramic sunset from the hilltop. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 3: Kalkan / Xanthos / Patara

After an early departure, you will cruise about 4 hours to the picturesque town on Kalkan, a small village of white-washed houses and balconies draped with garlands of flowers. While in Kalkan, you can visit the ancient sites of Patara, Xanthos and Letoon, three of the best ancient sites of Lycia! If you are interested in visiting these cities, please let us know so that we can get you a rental car.  Overnight will be in Kalkan to discover this picturesque town or in a nearby bay to relax and swim. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 4: Kekova / Kas

After breakfast, you will cruise to Kekova. The gulf of Kekova is a spectacular place to explore the remains of a sunken city and Lycian tombs. Climb the ruins of the Kekova castle for a breathtaking view. Take a short sail to Gokoya, a completely deserted cove with no habitation in sight. It is studded with ancient ruins and one can swim in the large cave. The water is especially clear here and you can see the ruins almost the whole length of Kekova island. In the afternoon we will hike in the region of Kaleköy (Simena) and Üçagiz (Theimiussa). Overnight stay will be in Kas. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 5: Disembarkation

After breakfast, you will be disembarking in Kas. You will be transferred to Dalaman Airport or to your next destination. (Breakfast)
