Sample itinerary

Day 1: Cruise to Kythnos

You will find your private yacht at the marina in Athens, ready for an afternoon departure to Kythnos. Drop anchor in Kolona beach, with its fine golden sand and double bay. or head inland to explore the majestic caverns of the Katafyki.

Day 2: A Cycladic voyage

Set sail for the famous island of Mykonos, with its sandy beaches and endless boutiques, bars and restaurants lining their shores. A half day trip to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ancient Delos is a must, as well as the close by island of Rinia, the historic graveyard of its sacred neighbour.

Day 3: Discover Rinia & Paros

Sail to Paros, celebrated for its glittering white marble and picture-perfect villages. On shore, visit the 5th Century AD Church of Panagia Ekantontapiliani, or cruise down to Farangas beach for a relaxing afternoon swim.

Day 4: Marvel at the sights of Naxos

Visit Naxos, in ancient times sacred to Dionysus, the god of wine! The largest and most fertile of the Cycladic islands, visitors to Naxos will be struck by its verdant valleys, cool streams and fertile meadows. Spend the morning relaxing on Plaka beach, or head to Mikri Vigla for windsurfing and other watersports.

Day 5: Explore the Caldera of Santorini

Cruise to idyllic Santorini, pausing en-route for morning swims in the Aegean’s famous crystal clear waters. Arriving in Santorini, explore the dramatic scenery of the caldera, before heading to the south side of the island to relax on the famous Red and White beaches.

Day 6: Reveal the hidden beauty of Milos

Discover an island of true beauty, made famous by the Venus de Milo statue, which was discovered here in 1820. Anchor offshore and explore the white sands and aquamarine waters of Milos’ many beaches, or head inland to wander around the winding streets of some of the most picturesque villages in the Cyclades.

Day 7: Gaze at stunning Sifnos

Sail on to Sifnos, and discover its untouched beaches, low-key nightlife and picturesque white watched villages. Explore its stunning coastline, dropping anchor off the golden sands of Vathi or Kamares beaches to swim in the clear blue waters. Alternatively, head inland to the capital town of Apollonia and enjoy it’s bars, cafes and boutiques, before returning to the yacht for a calm, onboard dinner.

Day 8: Return to Athens

Enjoy a final day on the seas on your return journey to Athens.

Yachting in Greece is possible from beginning of April until end of October.

Best time for yachting in the Cyclades is May-June or September. Please note that towards the end of July and beginning of August, the ‘Meltemi’ winds cause rough seas, hence yachting is not advisable.
