Our adventure begins in Siem Reap, where the sunrise over Angkor Wat sets the tone for days immersed in jungle-wrapped temples, rich history, and the quiet beauty of Khmer culture. From there, we travel into Vietnam’s warmth and colour: lantern-lit Hoi An, countryside cycling through lush rice fields, and the lively flavours and hidden corners of Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

We board the RV Laos Pandaw, our private vessel for a remarkable 10-night upriver expedition through some of Asia’s most remote and stirring landscapes. Each day reveals something new: quiet villages, limestone cliffs, sacred caves filled with Buddha icons, riverside ceremonies, and the gentle cadence of daily life shaped by the water. Evenings bring their own kind of magic — chef-crafted meals, sunset gatherings, starlit sandbanks, and the simple pleasure of watching the river glide by.

Our expedition concludes in the storied Golden Triangle before continuing onward to Chiang Rai or Chiang Mai — a fitting end to a journey designed with intention, balance, and a spirit of discovery.
